Employers must keep an up-to-date staff register in which all employees working for the company, including temporary staff, trainees and people doing civic service must be listed in a specific section of the register, in the order in which they were recruited.
KEY POINT
Remote workers must be identified as such.
This register, prepared by the employer, must be kept in each company’s sites. It includes surnames, first names, type of contract, nationality, gender, date of birth, job title, qualifications, dates on which employees joined and left the company, plus special details for foreign workers, young workers, employees on temporary contracts and part-time workers.
The employer must make this available to labour inspectors and monitors, together with copies of foreign employees’ work permits, and at each workplace that is separate from the head office and is not stable, for foreign employees working there.
